I haven't blogged much this summer. Maybe no-one noticed! I have had a flare-up of my auto-immune problem and have been too exhausted to try new recipes or post about them. So my newest quest has been to find foods that my 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son are capable of making on their own. Not feeling well enough to venture out to the grocery store also necessitates that we get by with minimal trips to the grocery store. We are going only for perishables which is something my husband can buy if needed. So we have made friends with amazon.com's subscribe and save program and have found several things that the kids can make without assistance. Hopefully I will be able to post about these meal options soon. In the meantime, I highly suggest you scroll down and look into the allergy free box from Angel Food Ministries. Someone gave us a box of their food recently and the kids and I were very impressed with their chicken products. They are very easy to prepare. I will let you know about the dry mixes.

I would love to know how you like Angel. We have the option in our city and I'd love to know how it goes for you. Thanks,
My kids really like them. They are really good. Not so healthy if you deep fry them, but there are oven instructions for cooking them as well. http://www.glutenfreefaces.com/profiles/blogs/allergy-free-foods-frozen
